This academic year, with the support of its donors, HLD distributed over 30,000 textbooks to approximately 4500 students; teacher manuals and resource books for the personnel of all 19 public primary schools on the island of La Gonave. To see the pictures click HERE |

The Brownie Girl Adventures to Haiti Lumiere de Demain.
"Education is very important to me. I connected with HLD in the past and it touched my heart to see the work that Louis and his organization is doing in Haiti. I decided to go with HLD as one of the charities on my mission to give back because I want to be apart of the movement that HLD is creating in Haiti. I am of Haitian descent and HLD’s mission is in agreement with the impact I hope my book(s) will have on the youth today."
