Louis Elneus, President & Founder of Haiti Lumiere de Demain
Whenever and wherever a disaster hits the American people always open their hearts and wallets to help.
Today, the American people living in the Deep South, especially those in Louisiana, are experiencing the devastation of Hurricane Katrina. On behalf of the many children and families in Haiti that Haiti Lumiere de Demain/Haiti's Light for Tomorrow has helped with your support, we offer our sympathy and prayers to all who suffer the loss of loved ones or the destruction of property. This sympathy is also extended to the whole of the American people, who share in the pain of this disaster. Haiti is no stranger to such destruction and we share your pains because we know them. We have lived that loss time and time again through past storms.
May God give you the strength to find hope and peace in the midst of such destruction and despair. May all your past good deeds to the world be multiplied and sent back to you by the thousands. To our brothers and sisters in Louisiana, DO NOT LOSE FAITH. What you lose today God will give back to you in multiples.
May He comfort you and bless you with quick relief during the pain of your loss.
