Rev. Beauvoir was born and raised in Haiti, Mr. Beauvoir moved to Montreal, Canada, in 1980. He went to University and Seminary in Montreal and is a graduate of Universite de Montreal (M.A.). He was ordained to the Diaconate on June 4, 1989, and to the Priesthood on March 25, 1990.

He did Parish ministry for more than two years in Montreal at St. Ignatius' Anglican Church. He worked in his home country as a Canadian missionary, where he served as the Principal of College St. Pierre, Port-au-Prince. For three years, he served on the national staff of the Anglican Church of Canada, in Toronto, as a Mission Coordinator for Africa & the Middle East.

Since May 1999, he is working at the Grants Department of Trinity Wall Street, in the City of New York. In May 2000, he was elected President of the Executive Council of the francophone Anglican churches around the World.
